The synopsis

Yusif Qarabaghi (born 1532 in Qarabagh, Safavid Empire, died 1591 in Samarkand, Shaybanids) was a Turkic scientist, doctor, and philosopher. He belonged to the Turkoman nomadic Otuziki tribe, from the Muhammadshahlu clan. After receiving his early education in Karabakh, he moved to Central Asia with his teacher, Habibullah Mirzacan Shirazi. In Samarkand and Bukhara, he was known as the Great Akhund and was associated with the Kubrawiyya sect, founded by Najmuddin Kubra. Yusif Qarabaghi authored numerous works, primarily in Arabic, but also in Turkish and Persian. His work "Heft Jinan" ("Seven Gardens") was translated into Azerbaijani. Manuscripts of his works are preserved in institutions in Uzbekistan, the Suleymaniye Library, and Saint Petersburg. While sources mention his poetic contributions, these works have not yet been discovered.
