The synopsis
Sergei Alexandrovich Suvorov, born in 1869, was a notable figure from the Russian Empire, recognized for his contributions as a statistician, philosopher, and revolutionary. His engagement with revolutionary movements began in the 1890s when he became involved in Marxist study circles, notably alongside Nikolai Fedoseev. This early involvement led him to join the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDLP) in 1900. Suvorov played an active role in the political landscape of his time, participating in the significant 1905 Revolution. His intellectual contributions extended to philosophy, where he was associated with the Russian Machists, and he authored works such as "Studies in the Philosophy of Marxism." He also represented his party as a delegate at the 4th Congress of the RSDLP in 1906, where he specifically addressed the Agrarian programme. Suvorov was also a member of the Yaroslavl Soviet of Workers' Deputies. His life was cut short on June 15, 1918, when he died during combat in Yaroslavl amidst the turmoil of the Russian Civil War.
