The synopsis

Mistefa Bêsaranî (1642–1701) was a prominent Kurdish Sufi and poet, known for his writings in the Gorani language. Born in the village of Bêseran in the Ardalan region, he dedicated his life to spiritual and intellectual pursuits. Bêsaranî's education encompassed jurisprudence, the Quran, Ijtihad, and Fatwa. Despite his academic pursuits, he returned to his home village after completing his studies. There, he engaged in practical life, working in agriculture and animal husbandry, while also serving his community as a teacher, preacher, and spiritual guide. His poetic works, collected in his diwans, explored profound themes such as the divine, the beauty of nature, the nature of love, and offered guidance and advice to his readers. Bêsaranî's influence extended to other scholars and poets, notably Mawlawi Tawagozi, who was inspired by his poetry. The shrine of Mistefa Bêsaranî stands as a testament to his enduring legacy.
