The synopsis

Georg Mehlis (8 March 1878 – 13 November 1942) was a German neo-Kantian philosopher. Initially, he was a philosopher of history in the style of Heinrich Rickert. He co-edited (with Richard Kroner) "Logos, Internationale Zeitschrift für Philosophie der Kultur" from 1910, which featured contributions from many leading German intellectuals and also had an Italian counterpart from 1914. In the 1920s, his interests shifted towards mysticism, and he subsequently wrote books on fascism. His ideas concerning aesthetics have been adopted by Suzanne Langer.
