The synopsis
Daniil Leonidovich Andreyev (2 November 1906 – 30 March 1959) was a Russian writer, poet, and Christian mystic. The son of writer Leonid Andreyev, Daniil was raised by his aunt after his mother's death. He showed early literary talent but could not attend university due to his background. Conscripted into the Red Army in 1942, he served as a non-combatant. In April 1947, he was arrested and charged with anti-Soviet propaganda, receiving a 25-year sentence, later reduced. During his imprisonment in Vladimir Central Prison (1947–1957), he experienced mystic visions and began writing "Roza Mira" (The Rose of the World). Released in 1957, he completed the book, which detailed spiritual realities and future events. "Roza Mira" circulated via samizdat and was officially published in 1991. Most of his pre-1947 works were destroyed by the authorities.
