Tina makes a good point, but does, I feel, slightly complicate the original thought expressed by The Master. He was simply stating that one should never try to impose on another one’s own imperatives. “Know Thyself”, first. Yes, and from that knowledge, accept that other people have their own way of seeing things. Why try to make others accept what you do not accept? They have their own past experiences to draw on, of which you are not aware, and their opinions and reactions are shaped by their experiences. Let it be!
